Celebrating Graduate Excellence

On April 16, the UVA College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences hosted the Campaign for Graduate Excellence Celebration Dinner, bringing together donors and graduate fellows for an evening of recognition and connection. The annual event honored the extraordinary generosity of campaign supporters and celebrated the achievements of named graduate fellows, whose scholarship, research, and leadership reflect the mission of Arts & Sciences. 

Throughout the evening, fellows and donors had the opportunity to connect and celebrate together, highlighting the meaningful impact of philanthropy on graduate education. Christa D. Acampora, dean of the College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, offered reflections on the campaign’s progress and the vital role graduate students play in advancing research and teaching across the University. The celebration underscored both the accomplishments of the fellows and the lasting impact of donor support in shaping the future of graduate education at UVA.
